Dining on Spring Island is more than a meal, it’s a way of gathering. Whether it’s breakfast with a view, cocktails at golden hour, a pop-up dinner under the stars, or even a meal on the sandbar, each experience blends community, creativity, and the flavors of the Lowcountry. From dishes crafted with ingredients grown at Waterfall Farm, to house-made ice creams featuring eggs from our own chicken coop, every plate tells a story. Members even bring in their own fresh-caught fish or game for a personalized meal made just for them. It’s all part of the Spring Island experience - casual, curated, and deeply connected to place.
Spring Island’s food and beverage team is a big part of what makes this place feel like home. Many of them take on different roles around the Island, giving them the chance to show off their range of talents and stay connected to the community in meaningful ways. They’re not just staff – they’re familiar faces, good friends, and an important part of the everyday experience for Members. Many have been here for decades, building lasting relationships and traditions that are woven into the fabric of Island life.
One of Spring Island’s newest and most versatile dining experiences, the Tabby Shack is a fully self-contained mobile kitchen designed to bring gourmet cuisine to every corner of the Island.
Introduced in late 2024, it's quickly become a favorite for events of all kinds - from large-scale golf tournaments to intimate gatherings. While the Golf House undergoes renovations July 2025, the Tabby Shack is parked outside of the Old Tabby Links practice area, serving lunch, snacks, and drinks from it's windows 6 days a week.
